Frequently asked questions

Are you licensed?

Yes. Licensed in UAE, with permissions available in most GCC countries. Restricted-area applications handled.

Can you fly over crowds or events?

With proper permissions and insurance, yes. Event aerial work is one of our common project types.

What drones do you use?

We always update to the latest drones. Our current fleet includes the DJI Mavic 4 Pro, DJI Air 3S, DJI Mini 5 Pro, and DJI Avata 360 for 360-degree aerial coverage.

Where can I legally fly a drone in the UAE?

The UAE has strict drone regulations administered by the GCAA. You need a registered drone, a licensed operator, and prior permission for most filming locations. No-fly zones cover most of Dubai and Abu Dhabi city centres, airports, government areas, and military zones. I handle all permission applications and only operate within sanctioned zones.

How long does it take to get drone filming permits in the UAE?

Standard locations: 5–10 business days. Restricted zones like central Dubai or Abu Dhabi: 2–4 weeks minimum, and approval is not guaranteed. Iconic landmarks (Burj Khalifa, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Atlantis) require even longer lead times and sometimes special agreements. Plan accordingly — last-minute drone shots of premium locations in the UAE are rarely realistic.
